Who I Am
I’m Nick Sanderson—a pilot, veteran, entrepreneur, and unapologetic truth-teller. I didn’t come into aviation with a silver spoon or a Wall Street bankroll. I came from the ground up, the hard way—through military service, grit, and a drive to carve out a future in the skies.
Why NickThePilot Exists
NickThePilot isn’t just another aviation blog. It’s a platform forged out of frustration with a system full of red tape, corruption, and complacency. Aviation has always been about freedom, discipline, and pushing limits—but too often it’s buried under bureaucracy, incompetence, and even outright crime.
This site was built to do three things:
Showcase Businesses: Give a voice to the small shops, innovators, and builders who are fighting to survive in an industry dominated by bloated corporations and government mismanagement.
Highlight Aviators: Tell the stories of real pilots and mechanics—men and women who work long hours, take the risks, and keep this industry alive without recognition from the so-called “elites.”
Expose Crime in Aviation: Pull back the curtain on fraud, cover-ups, and corruption that threaten safety and rob honest people of their livelihoods.
The Mission
Aviation is America. It represents freedom, ingenuity, and resilience. But just like our nation, it’s under attack from within—by regulators who strangle innovation, corporations that put profit above people, and criminals who see aviation as another racket to exploit.
NickThePilot exists to fight back. To bring truth to light. To celebrate the good, call out the bad, and remind people that aviation—like America itself—is worth defending
